Laser Tattoo Removal Overview

Laser tattoo removal is widely regarded as the number one solution for tattoo regret and unwanted ink. Not only is this procedure FDA approved, it’s noninvasive! Tatt Cemetery uses the safest protocols and best technology to deliver desired removal results.

Tattoo Permanency

One of the most appealing traits about tattoos is their permanent design. In fact, that’s one of the biggest reasons people get tattoos in the first place, but how and why are tattoos permanent? Large ink particles are inserted deep into the skin’s dermis layer using a needle or tattoo gun. Immediately, your body’s immune system is alerted of the foreign ink particles and begins trying to remove them. The only problem is, the ink particles are way to large for your blood cells to remove. So the ink remains permanently trapped in your skin. Over time, however, your body continuously tries to break down the ink. This is why tattoos gradually fade and lose color.

How Laser Tattoo Removal Works

Laser tattoo removal essentially works as an assistant to your body’s immune system. It speeding up the natural fading process that happens over many years. Our Astanza Trinity Laser emits extremely fast pulses of light energy onto your unwanted tattoo. The ink particles absorb the light energy causing them to break apart into tiny fragmented particles that your body is then able to consume and remove naturally through your bloodstream.

This process is repeated over a series of treatments, with each treatment shattering the ink particles into smaller fragments, allowing more ink to be cleared with each session. Multiple treatments are necessary to target the varying layers of ink, targeting the shallowest layer and working its way down until no ink is visible on the skin.

The Astanza Trinity

Tatt Cemetery uses only the latest, most advanced technology to perform laser tattoo removal treatments. When removing “permanent,” unwanted ink, it’s essential to have the right equipment. Our Astanza Trinity laser delivers superior removal results in the fewest amount of treatments, no matter the colors in your tattoo.

Full-Spectrum Removal

The Astanza Trinity laser is comprised of two standalone lasers, the Astanza Duality (a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser) and Astanza Eternity (a Q-switched ruby laser). Together, they create the Trinity, a triple-wavelength laser with full-spectrum removal capabilities and groundbreaking power.

The Trinity boasts two of the main factors necessary to deliver exceptional tattoo removal: wavelengths and peak power. The Trinity’s three wavelengths, 1064 nm, 532 nm, and 694 nm, work together to target and effectively shatter every tattoo color. Each wavelength is effective on a specific group of colors. 1064 nm and 532 nm are standard wavelengths that typically every laser clinic supports. However, pigments like bright blue, lime green, sky blue, and teal are considered rare Resistant shades that even the most powerful Nd:YAG lasers have difficulty removing. Only a ruby laser, like our 694 nm wavelength, can target and shatter these stubborn pigments.

Powerful Technology, Safer Results

Furthermore, the Trinity uses extremely quick pulses, short pulse durations, and higher pulse energies.  More so than traditional and picosecond lasers;  the trinity produces immense peak power for optimal ink shattering and faster ink clearance. Many picosecond lasers are also causing patients with darker skin tones to experience hypopigmentation (loss of melanin in the skin).  In fact, some picosecond lasers are only cleared to treat fairer skin types I – III. Patients have said the picosecond laser is more painful and does not deliver on the fewer treatment promise. Our Astanza Trinity laser features an innovative square spot to reduce overlap and over-treatment of the skin. The flat-top homogenized beam to avoid hot spots and safely treat all skin types on the entire color spectrum.

All of these features combined make the Trinity the superior choice for laser tattoo removal through Fort Myers and beyond. Don’t let ink stay trapped in your skin forever, give it a proper burial at Tatt Cemetery.  Text for a quote or call and schedule your free consultation today!
