How does laser tattoo removal work?

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments needed is unique to each patient and their tattoo. Tatt Cemetery uses a variety of factors to determine the number of treatments you will need. These factors include your tattoo’s age, size, location, colors, your skin type, and more. Patients with complex tattoos may require 5 to 10 treatments for complete removal, whereas patients with older, less vibrant tattoos, or those interested in simply fading their tattoo may require 3 to 4 treatments. How long do treatments take?

Depending on the size and density of your tattoo, treatments can take anywhere from 1 to 30 minutes. For example, a black outline tattoo the size of a quarter may take 1 minute to trace with the laser, but an extra large tattoo with various colors may take anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes. Overall, laser tattoo removal is a very quick procedure and can even be completed during a lunch break!

 

How long does it take to completely remove my tattoo?
